Grand Vitara is a SUV launched by Maruti Suzuki which comes with a 2.4 liter DOHC petrol engine delivering a maximum power of 163.5 bhp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 225 NM at 4000 rpm. The 2.4 L model of Grand Vitara is available at a price range between 16.67 lakhs and Rs.17.97 lakhs. The vehicle comes in both AT (automatic transmission) and MT (manual transmission) variants. The engine is coupled to 5 speed manual transmissions and automatic transmission is 4 speeds forward and one reverse.
The Grand Vitara 2.4 boasts of an all-time four-mode 4-wheel drive (4WD) configuration. Other highlights of this are a Multi information display, 17 inch alloy wheels and central speaker linked with a 6-CD changer. The MID has been provided to enable the user to see all the vehicle information like average speed, fuel consumption, low fuel indication etc. The new design of the front bumper gives it a more stylish look and makes it look sleeker.
